This past year, trying to keep my focus and on task has been very challenging. I would start a project, then with in 20 minutes my brain would start staggering between thoughts unrelated to my task. I would either need to get up and walk or I would have to come back to it when I had better mental focus. I didn’t necessarily have a problem with memory, but certainly staying focused was a challenge.
Recently I read about Alpha Brain. I did a little research on the product and company and watched a Tim Ferris Podcast on YouTube about the CEO of ONNIT, Audrey Marcus, and decided to give some of their products a try.
Onnit Alpha Brain has individual packages that you can purchase for daily doses without purchasing an entire $55 container. If the product ends up working for you, then you can spend the money on a bigger container. You only use it once daily. It’s available in a capsule or powder form. I read some reviews about the pill form giving some people headaches, so I decided to purchase the powder version. So far so good, no headaches.
The ingredients in this formula include l-tyrosine, phosphatidylserine, l-theanine, vitamin B6, oat straw, l-alpha-glyceryl-phosphoryl choline (GPC), pterostilbene, l-leucine, Vinpocetine, black pepper, cat’s claw, Bacopa extract and Huperzia Serrata. This product aims to enhance mental clarity, boost concentration, and help you process info more quickly. But I feel like this product helped me more than mental clarity or boosting concentration. I have been feeling steady focus throughout the day and better mental strength with my workouts.
