Amelia’s Story

I’d only been practicing Olympic lifting for about 3 months when I started working with Ayse, and from the very beginning she showed patience, dedication, and the attention I needed to get my technique down, to build strength, and to progress in the sport. She’s created programming that has helped me build strength and mobility, and she’s tailored my programming to work around injuries while they healed, while avoiding them in the future. She has a keen eye for technique and always has insightful advice for my lifts.
After only about 9 months of lifting with her, Ayse got me to my first meet, at which I hit all 6 of my lifts, PRed my clean and jerk, and came in 4th in my class (while working with an injured knee that wouldn’t let me hit a full squat). I couldn’t ask for a better coach.
